About US

The Thriving Stellar Woman Initiative (TSWI) is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering underserved women and girls through entrepreneurship, digital skills and vocational training. It was founded in 2024 and duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria in 2025 under RC: 8189418.

The organization was established in response to the socio-economic barriers that prevent many women and girls, especially those from low-income and marginalized communities, from becoming economically stable. Recognizing entrepreneurship as a powerful tool for economic independence, TSWI equips women and girls with practical skills, relevant information and support systems that enable them to build sustainable livelihoods.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP SENSITIZATION PROGRAM

At The Thriving Stellar Woman Initiative (TSWI), we design and implement practical, inclusive programs that empower underserved women and girls with the information, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive in today’s economy. Our programs focus on entrepreneurship, vocational skills, digital literacy, and access to emerging industries, ensuring participants are equipped for both traditional and modern income-generating pathways.

Our Key Programs and Activities

1. Entrepreneurship Awareness Seminars

These one-day awareness and empowerment sessions introduce women and girls to the vast opportunities within entrepreneurship. Participants learn about different entrepreneurial pathways, the benefits of self-employment, and how to begin their journey toward economic independence.

2. Community Town Halls

Our Town Halls are interactive, one-day events designed to:
  • Engage directly with women and girls to understand the unique challenges they face

    3. Foundational Training Workshops

    These short-term (1–2 weeks) workshops provide participants with essential knowledge and introductory skills to explore entrepreneurship and digital opportunities.

  • Digital Skills Workshop:Practical skills including social media management, virtual assistance, and remote work readiness

    4. Practical & Intensive Skill Acquisition Programs

    Our 3 to 6-month hands-on training programs are designed to provide women and girls with real, market-relevant skills, alongside mentorship and post-training support. These programs prepare participants for income generation, self-reliance, and participation in high-growth industries.

    5. The Growing Her Program

    The Growing Her Program is a comprehensive, structured training pathway designed to guide women and girls from awareness to economic stability. This flagship program combines multiple learning stages to ensure long-term impact:

The program starts with a foundational course in Introduction to Entrepreneurship, ensuring every participant gains a solid understanding of entrepreneurial principles.

This partnership ensures that financial constraints are no longer a barrier to accessing high-quality training and education.

    Scholarship Opportunities:

    • Partial Scholarships
      • Covering at least 50% of tuition fees, these scholarships significantly reduce the financial burden, making it easier for aspiring women to access the resources they need to thrive.
    • Fully Funded Scholarships

      • Covering 100% of tuition fees, these scholarships provide complete financial relief, opening the door for young women to focus solely on developing their skills and pursuing their dreams.
